Vulnerable Sector Check

Vulnerable Sector Check

The Airdrie & District Soccer Association (ADSA), Alberta Soccer Association (ASA) and Canada Soccer requires all team officials (coaches & managers) listed on rosters for ADSA programs, ADSA league play, CMSA league play, training, tournaments, provincials, nationals etc to provide a current and valid Vulnerable Sector Check.

This requirement is in place to help provide a safe environment for all participants in ADSA programs. Information checks are valid for 3 years.

How to Appy

Please follow these simple steps:

1. Request a Letter - Once you have filled out a volunteer application, you must request a volunteer letter from ADSA before applying for a clearance. Email admin@airdriesoccer.com to receive your letter. Your letter will be emailed back to you.

2. Apply at Dispatch - Take the volunteer letter to the Airdrie RCMP Detachment. In most cases, the detachment will complete the information check during that visit.

3.  Send a Completed Information Check to the Office - Scan and email a copy to admin@airdriesoccer.com

Through a program with Volunteer Alberta and government funding, these clearances are now free of charge with your volunteer letter. Volunteer Alberta is working hard to keep this program free to volunteers. Letters will only be given out to those listed on a current roster of ADSA programs. You must complete the steps within 2 weeks of receiving your volunteer letter from ADSA. If you do not complete the full process, you will not receive a 2nd letter from ADSA and any fee associated with getting your police clearance will be at your own expense.
